Kai Knudsen is a seasoned design leader with a focus on building and guiding high-performing cross-functional teams through the fast-paced realities of digital transformation. As Head of Customer Experience Design & Research at Eurowings Digital, he leads multidisciplinary teams to create seamless, user-centered travel experiences for millions of customers. Before joining Eurowings, Kai served as Head of Design at Valtech, a global digital agency known for driving large-scale experience and commerce platforms. There, he worked with major brands, also in the airline and travel space, including Lufthansa, translating complex business challenges into intuitive design solutions. He brings a hands-on mindset, a love for operational clarity and a passion for growing design maturity in organizations facing constant change.
