At Digital Travel, we spoke to Megan Myers, Senior Demand Generation Manager at Cloudinary, to see why they sponsored for the first time in 2023.

Why did you choose to sponsor Digital Travel in 2023?

Megan: This is our first outbound initiative in the travel industry as there are several companies here we are interested in. We’re meeting the people we want to see and having great conversations, which is the main thing.

How have you found the quality of delegates?

Megan: They’ve been great. Great brands and a good range of companies. After our session, we saw a lot of traffic and people stopping by our booth, which is important to us, because at some events that we go to are purely thought leadership, but you guys are doing a great job at bridging that gap here. It’s definitely a good event to sponsor.

How have you found the networking opportunities?

Megan: We’ve had some good conversations, especially in the networking lunch. We actually sat down with a customer and that was a great opportunity to network.

How did you find your speaking session?

Megan: It was great, it was very well attended, about 140 people, and I was very pleased with the turn out. It has certainly help speed up the meeting process, we saw a big influx of traffic at the booth afterwards. It’s great that the booth is close to the session because people have to walk by which really helps.

How would you rate the organisation of the event?

Megan: It’s awesome, you guys are professionals through and through and very flexible. I’m impressed with the layout and how you’re able to keep everybody in a nice, closed space so people can network.

Would you say it’s important to sponsor Digital Travel?

Megan: Absolutely. We’re able to get our brand and our name out there in the travel space, which is not something that we’ve done before. This being our first outbound package, there’s risk and you want to see results, but you have all gone above and beyond to satisfy our needs.
